We dry out quickly in the thin air of San Miguel de Allende, Alt. 6,600’. So we need lots to drink, and plenty of people make a living providing fluids. Some people like licuados—drinks made from fruits whirled in a blender with water and sugar, sometimes with a quail egg or two added for protein.
